Jolly is 6’4 and 225 wearing a men's Extra Large.
Ema is 5’5 and 140lbs wearing a women's small.
Very well made, looking forward to wearing it on my upcoming AT thru-hike! I usually wear a small and it fit great, with exception of sleeves being a tad short. I will not be able to utilize the thumbholes. I am 5'9 1/2 " tall and have long arms.
This is my second purchase of this shirt. The first one was damaged when bitten by a dog on a hike. Missed it so much on my next hike, I ordered a replacement immediately upon return. Great comfort and quality.
I am planning to do the Camino de Santiago in April 2026 and was looking for a hiking shirt for so long, till I found the Jolly Gear brand.
I am currently practicing for the camino (here in Perth-Western Australia) and can asure that the Jolly Gear shirt exceded my expectations and definitively will bring it with me for my camino (900 kilometres).

I'm not a serious trekker, but I do travel a lot in very hot countries. I'm albino, so I'm sensitive to the sun. This shirt is perfect for me. It's lightweight, versatile, and offers excellent protection. Plus, it dries very quickly. I've tried sun hoodies; they were good but warmer and less versatile. Furthermore, I've only been testing it intensively for 10 days, and the construction seems very durable. Perfect. I hope my experience will be helpful to others.
This shirt is almost everything I ever wanted in a hiking shirt (nothing that can’t be fixed by a decent tailor). I love the hood and as my hair continues to grow out, I know that I’ll appreciate the pony tail hole. And the thumb holes help give me extra coverage from the sun. With a little luck, I’ll be taking this shirt on the PCT next year. Thanks for a great product.
