Triple Crown Button Down Long Sleeve | Dusty Cedar UL

I just finished thru hiking the Colorado Trail in this shirt. It is a perfect blend of protection, and quick drying. Absolutely love it.

We are loving our shirts. There’s really nothing else out there quite like them. A button-down shirt with a hood seems like it should be such a simple find, but it is not. Thanks for filling this need! And doing it so well!

Ohhh yah these are great, i love the solid colors like these. Its nice to have a great shirt like this. Glad theres no a shirt for everyone with solid colors and colorful unique pattern

Fit is super big/long. I am on the shorter size and the XS falls at mid thigh. Need to get it hemmed professionally to wear. Fabric is a lot more delicate than I anticipated as well - it has micro holes for breathability and concerned about how this will hold up over time. Overall it's a super cool shirt filling a niche, but the fit could use some refining.

Ordered the Dusty Cedar UL in a mens M since the women's S was out of stock, and couldn't be happier! It's perfect, a loose fitting sun shirt for hot NW summer backpacking trips. In fact, I loved it so much, I ordered the Chromaflor Mint in XS the same day. The XS fits my 5'3, 102lb frame perfectly and I plan to wear it during shoulder season or high altitude endeavors.

Nice, comfortable, cool in the sun.

Nice weight . I like that the thumb holes match the fabric on the body .

Has all the traditional jolly gear shirt features (integrated hood, zippered chest pockets & thumb holes) in a more subdued color that is comfortable to wear in warmer temperatures on the trail or in town having dinner.

Love these shirts. I own two now, these are my go to for hiking in Arizona!

Fits great. Functional and stylish - can't ask for much more.

Great shirt for AZ hikes. Keeps the sun off your head, ears and top of hands with is critical here. The UL works well to cool with a little breeze in hot temps. The dusty cedar colour is better than expected. More of a reddish clay think Sedona rock. Only thing and it is not a big one is I am not a button down collar guy. So I just undo them. I do not want to look too posh on the trail, haha.

Its my second shirt. I really enjoy how comfortable and nice looking the shirts are. You can go from trail to restaurant without looking like hiker trash.

I absolutely LOVE this shirt. I backpacked the entirety of the PCT (2600 miles) from the first to last day of the trail with my Kaleidoscope sun hoodie. It saved me from sun exposure and breathed very, very well on hot days in the desert. It kept me warm on cool days. I got many compliments on the pattern and I was often asked where I bought it. I even wore it snorkeling to protect myself from the sun as we were not allowed to wear sunscreen to protect the reefs we were near. The quality of the shirt is outstanding and it’s ultralight. I recently bought a new Dusty Cedar shirt for my upcoming travels.

It’s a great shirt, but for me the sleeves are 1/2”-1” too short to be able to use the thumbholes. There’s an uncomfortable pulling against the thumb/finger connection and a tightening of the sleeves when I do so. I’ve used it without them and found it light and comfortable to wear just with the cuffs buttoned. I’ll keep it.

This review is for the same shirt, but Evergreen color. Picked up the shirt at Trail Days in Damascus on my AT thru-hike.

Loved the shirt through all the summer heat. It dried quick and kept me protected from the sun. The hood also helped keep the gnats and mosquitos away starting in northern VA and through much of the northeast. Very comfortable shirt. The lighter color was great to have all summer.

The shirt made it from mile 500 to about mile 1850. The material in the middle of my shoulder blades on the back gave way and began to shred. Sadly, I had to ditch it. Don’t know if is a durability issue or inevitable with any shirt sweated on and sandwiched between your back and a backpack all day. Still love the shirt.

Comfortable and very stylish. Able to wear for long hikes very breathable. Also able to pair it with black hiking skirt or pants and go to nearby winery looking nice.

Very lightweight and comfortable. Disappointed in the color: despite the name (dusty cedar), all of the photos make it look like it has a bright pink cast, which I love. Instead, it looks like a dying pumpkin rolled in a mud puddle.

Could use buttons and straps on sleeves to help hold up sleeves in hot weather. Those days when one wants a short-sleeve.

Absolutely love Jolly’s sun hoodies! I have been using one on my thru-hike of the PCT and always recommend it to fellow hikers. It’s so light, breathable, and dries fast! All the little features make it stand apart from other sun hoodies too. I especially like being able to cinch the hood tighter when it’s windy. The sun protection is great too, I’ve never been burned through the sun hoodie! 10/10 recommend!

I really love the breathability on the torso part of this shirt - hope you may more fun colors and patterns! I love that the hoodie is adjustable and covers the side of your face, the thumbholes (with sleeves long enough to cover a chunk of my hands, and the fun colors/patterns of all the shirts!
