Triple Crown Button Down Long Sleeve | Evergreen UL

The Triple Crown button down long sleeve hoody was perfect for the Camino Frances. My wife and I went September and October 2025 and this shirt was hands down my favorite item I had on the camino . The sun on the Maseta was intense, so much so it faded the fabric on our packs. I didn’t get sunburned on those 95° days! The fabric is breathable and lets wind easily pass through and dries quickly. The perfect sun hoody. Will be with from now on on all the Utah backpacking trips. Thanks!

Love the shirt. It fits great. The sleeve length is good, until I use the thumb holes, which then makes the shirt too tight through the shoulders. Just another 1/2 to 1 inch more on the distant end of the thumb holes would be ideal. (I don’t have freakishly long arms 😀)
I also recommend reengineering the cuffs so that the buttons aren’t in the palm of the hand when thumbs are in the thumb holes. Buttons in the palm are not good if using hiking poles.

I love this shirt! It's light and allows airflow for comfort on hot days. It includes all the features that make July shirts so helpful on the trails, including an adjustable hood and thumb holes in the sleeves.

I like the longer sleeves than the other shirt I bought. The thumb holes actually work on this shirt. Also, the cuff button is not in the palm of my hand so when I use poles, the button isn’t pressing into my palm. The fabric is nice and light, but still provides good SPF protection. If it were a little roomier, it would get 5 stars.

I have not had a chance to hike in it, but I love it. Can't wait to use it. We'll made, light material.
Im 5'4" 155lb, I got a woman large. It fits well, not a lot of extra room for a shirt under it.

This is the best long sleeve I've ever worn. I'm living in Japan, and you can't imagine how hot the summer is here. This gives me the best UV protection with the lightest fabric possible!

Bought two of these for extremely hot and humid five day trip through Malaysian jungle. Light, dried faster than any other outdoor long sleeve I own, and the hood and thumb holes were great for the onslaught of insects. Love them, no notes.

I really like that the shirt combines the features of a sun hoodie and the popular name brand button up shirt hikers wear. One challenge is that the sleeves are too short for me. When I use the thumb holes, the sleeves are stretched to the max. Also, it puts a lot of pressure on my thumb crotch, which is only comfortable for 15-20 minutes at a time. Another challenge is that the cuffs are not wide or stretchy enough. I have to unbutton the cuff to be able to slide the sleeve down to use the thumb holes. Love the idea, but needs a few refinements for me.

Worked well against uv 7 rays. I didn’t get burned when others did.

Great shirt. Light and airy. Made well. Fit well and liked the features including hood with inches, thumb loops and zip pockets. Wore in hotter weather and was comfortable.

I absolutely love the triple crown button down long sleeve ultralight shirt. It is extremely comfortable and fits very nicely on me. I have a fairly athletic body shape (5ft 11, 175lb), am a very picky about fit of shirts, and have a hard time finding shirts that are not too boxy. The medium fits and looks pretty much perfect. I genuinely wish you made shirts with the same cut but without the hood that I could wear casually (aka out on the town and not hiking). That said, the hood is quite comfortable and I can stuff it back into the shirt with only mild annoyance if I don't want the hoody look. Seriously though, please reach out if you'd ever consider making a hood-less version. Much love.

Such an awesome shirt, it’s cool, dries fast, covers well, has a good fit, and looks good on trail and town. Only thing that would make this shirt perfect would be a button on the upper sleeve to button the cuff to when you roll up the sleeves. Also I get compliments on this shirt on trail and town all the time.

I would have preferred to write a review after my hike on the Camino de Santiago.
Just a warning to those living in Europe.
I paid an extra 28% customs tax (in Greece).
So paying for shipping and customs, the price does go up . However I would most certainly buy another JollyGear product again and that's just by looking at it. I can't wait to try it out on the trail.

Cute & Comfortable

Husband loves this shirt. He wore it on a long hike in the heat yesterday and said it was perfect. It will definitely go with him to Yellowstone fly fishing trip next month. Lightweight, loose fit, great sun protection, stays cool in the heat.Checks all the boxes.

I would like to buy the Evergreen UL but I cannot find the UPF rating for the shirt anywhere on the page. Shouldn't need to ask. Since the fabric is different than the dyed versions and more porous I am assuming it is less than 30 but would love to be surprised!
