Amazing shirt for the kungsleden trail! I worked in the outdoor industry and I've finished a ton of big trails/climbs. This is the best shirt I've purchased for venting, UV protection, and not chaffing my shoulders and back after 25+ mile days with a pack. I plan to buy a few more.

Great patterns and great quality. In my last shirt I hiked 600 miles on the PCT and the entire AT. Thruhikin' warranty fulfilled.

I am planning to do the Camino de Santiago in April 2026 and was looking for a hiking shirt for so long, till I found the Jolly Gear brand.

I am currently practicing for the camino (here in Perth-Western Australia) and can asure that the Jolly Gear shirt exceded my expectations and definitively will bring it with me for my camino (900 kilometres).

This is a quality purchase, detailing everywhere, the brand is exceptional. I am senior who dresses to stay warm,layers. My first purchess with Jolly gear comes out on top, will outlast me.

Not a great fit but good fabric, great colors, but I ordered a LARGE because at 5'3 and weighing 145 lbs, the MEDIUM was too tight to button across my upper body. The LARGE is okay but a little too big. I know I could have returned the M but I'd rather just wear it over something else. I am, sorry to say, disappointed given all the wonderful ratings from women who seemed around my body size yet said it offered generous sizing.

This is exactly what I was wishing I had while walking the Camino this spring. I had a sun shirt but wanted something I could open up like a button down because I kept getting too hot. I literally stopped at every outdoor gear store I saw for three days looking for one before giving up. Shortly after I got back I learned about these and bought one straight away. It is now my favorite outdoor/hiking shirt ever and will be coming on all by backpacking trips from now on. Thank you for making the perfect shirt.

Very well made, looking forward to wearing it on my upcoming AT thru-hike! I usually wear a small and it fit great, with exception of sleeves being a tad short. I will not be able to utilize the thumbholes. I am 5'9 1/2 " tall and have long arms.

This is my second purchase of this shirt. The first one was damaged when bitten by a dog on a hike. Missed it so much on my next hike, I ordered a replacement immediately upon return. Great comfort and quality.

I'm not a serious trekker, but I do travel a lot in very hot countries. I'm albino, so I'm sensitive to the sun. This shirt is perfect for me. It's lightweight, versatile, and offers excellent protection. Plus, it dries very quickly. I've tried sun hoodies; they were good but warmer and less versatile. Furthermore, I've only been testing it intensively for 10 days, and the construction seems very durable. Perfect. I hope my experience will be helpful to others.

This shirt is almost everything I ever wanted in a hiking shirt (nothing that can’t be fixed by a decent tailor). I love the hood and as my hair continues to grow out, I know that I’ll appreciate the pony tail hole. And the thumb holes help give me extra coverage from the sun. With a little luck, I’ll be taking this shirt on the PCT next year. Thanks for a great product.

In Panama for 2 months with this being my only long sleeve sun protector shirt. Very comfortable. Looks great. I'm in a 45 liter travel pack so have to be choosy about what to bring for 2months f living out of a pack butthis shirt was a definite. Thanks Jolly Gear.

Super comfortable. Perfect sizing. Midnight Sun is a stylish pattern that will be great both on the trail for wearing to dinner at the end of a day's walking on Camino. I'm thinking of getting another JollyGear shirt in a lighter colour for mid summer hiking!

I love this shirt! My son and I just backpacked the West Highland Way in Scotland, and it was perfect. On cooler days, I layered a short sleeve under it. Love the design!

Love my jolly gear shirts.

I love this shirt - in all my thru hikes I never found one that really ticked all the boxes, but this one absolutely nails it. Lighter and stretchier than all the typical upf shirts, removes the need for sun gloves, and very quick-dry. If I was to be very nitpicky I'd prefer the sleeves to be a smidge longer for the thumb holes, but they are still long enough to use comfortably.

Please please offer a shirt in an XXL for women - even if it's just in one of the more neutral prints. I make do with the XL (because it's worth it!) but it's tight enough to make me feel self conscious when passing through towns. I'd buy a second (and third!) shirt in a size up immediately if I could - there's so few options in this space for plus size women, and fewer still that are actually good!

5'10" 185 lbs, with longer arms. The medium shirt fits well. I'm liking the sizing concept where an average sized human wears a medium.
