Great shirt! Website encouraged me to size down - which was the wrong move for me. The XL was too small. I gave it to a friend who loves it. Just ordered a XXL - which is what I normally wear in a shirt. Looking forward to wearing it!

I love these shirts. I have three of them. They fit great, dry fast, and provide great sun protection. I live in eastern North Carolina and the sun can be brutal. The only change I would make is putting a small strap and button on the sleeve. So when you roll it up, you can fasten it up.

The SPF protection is great. The only improvements I would make would be moving the cuff button so that it isn’t at my palm. I use poles and having a button pushing into my palm is uncomfortable. The other Jolly Gear shirt I bought doesn’t have a button in the palm & the sleeves are longer, so it is a much better sleeve/cuff. The sleeves on this shirt aren’t quite long enough to comfortably use the thumb holes, so the sleeves are pulled pretty tight to use the thumb holes. So, with a button in the palm and too short sleeves to use the thumb hole, those features are unused. The hood is nice and I like the ponytail slot. The only other wish would be that it could be a little roomier in the torso. If a lady is larger on top, larger than a B I would guess, the shirt will pull at the chest buttons and gap. Sometimes, I like to wear my sun shirts over tank tops and a roomier fit would be nice. I would say these shirts run a little on the small side for ladies. I’d go up a size, but a larger size isn’t offered, although by measurements, this one should be okay.

Great, comfy, nice fit, not too tight or baggy. Covers one up but also feels light. Also great customer service, addressed a very minor issue with the order.

This shirt is very comfortable and stylish. I’ve tried other button down shirts for hiking but never really liked wearing them, because they felt too constraining. But this Jolly Gear button down shirt has a little bit of stretch to it, is lightweight, airy, and silky, and just feels good on the skin! But the main reason I bought it was because of the two chest pockets. If there are any other ladies out there like me, who don’t need or want constraining and uncomfortable undergarments but still want to be discreet, this is a great shirt to wear. The chest pockets are placed just right for that purpose. And that helps a lot for keeping cool in high heat and humidity. And a short sleeve shirt would be great also, I plan on buying one as soon as they come out with a fabric pattern that suits.

My partner and I went to Yosemite and hiked in the backcountry for over 40 miles in two days loving your T-shirts! They are essential.

Really love my new jolly gear and the color is wonderful. Stylish, cool and protective for those buggy months here in NY.

Super light and comfy material. Wore this on a campout in high 80s and high humidity, didn't feel like I was wearing long sleeves. Went hiking and the hoodie was just perfect. Everyone in my crew was asking where I got it from! I think I'll be getting another one soon!

The overall quality is very good. Unfortunately, I can´t really use the thumb holes because the arms are just a little too tight (lengthwise) when holding trekking poles. I think a large would have been too big, so medium was the way to go. I did post a question to your website asking for measurements but didn't get a response. Having actual measurements would have been helpful.

Jolly long sleeve shirts go everywhere with our family. Combined we own 7 long sleeve shirts. They fit well, launder wrinkle-free and dry in no time. The sun protection is excellent, and boy are they cute! Highly recommend these shirts.

My husband and I both love our shirts! The weight is perfect and you can layer under or over them. Plus the prints are amazing and fun!

I’m not normally a “review guy”, but this shirt was so perfect I had to leave a review! So, I spent weeks searching the internet for the perfect long sleeve backpacking/travel shirt, and this is it! I ordered a bunch from all the other fancy brands, and ended up returning them all because the Jolly Good shirt was perfect. So perfect that I bought a second color and I’m saving up for one more! Seriously, the fabric is lightweight and breathable, and it looks like a nice collared shirt for traveling around if I tuck the hood into the back of the shirt. The thumb holes are a nice touch for using trekking poles. Zippered pockets are nice. The fit is great too…I’m always between a Large or XL, and the Large fits perfect, the chest looks nice but the stomach isn’t too tight. Seriously, Jolly made the best shirt possible!

The Triple Crown Button Down Long Sleeve shirt is amazing! Great protection from the Aussie sun (especially when a baseball cap is added) - it's the perfect solution for me.
The fit is tailored but roomy enough to allow airflow - SO GOOD on hot days. Very stylish also. I was surprised that the cuffs were not as pictured - they were a plain material rather than the same as the shirt but other than that, the shirt is absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended. Have recommended to my walking friends. Excellent quality.

I've thru hiked the appalachian trail, and am about 2300 miles into the pct currently. I can say without a doubt that these shirts are some of the best hiking clothing ever made. Simple and innovative, as well as stylish and durable. They hold up exceptionally well to hiking for long periods of time, and do a great job of keeping the sun at bay in exposed and sunny sections. They're comfortable in a variety of conditions because of the thumb loops on the sleeves, along with the adjustable hood. Its clear that they were designed by a thru hiker. If youre thinking of buying one, just do it. Jolly gear's customer service is also second to none, so you can feel secure in your purchase regardless of how rough you are on gear.

This is the best piece of clothing I ever had in terms of hiking. It feels great wearing it. It fits well. The attached hoodie is wonderful. I am going to stick to this brand. So happy I found it. And its the same name I have, Jolly.

Haven’t worn yet ,but love the features and think it will be a favorite .

First impression: My husband LOVES this shirt. He' worn it around town for a couple weeks and it's been great in the hot Florida sun. He is looking forward to taking it with us when we hike the Camino in Spain in September!
