About the design: The Appalachian Trail, where it all started for Jolly back in 2015. This was my first backpacking trip, my first thru hike!

This shirt is a collaboration with this Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) with artwork created by thru hiker Heidi "Sketch" Nisbett. The artwork is titled "Forest Bathing", the Japanese practice of immersing one's self in nature to improve health and reduce stress. That's what the AT is to many of us, a place to reconnect with yourself, feel joy, and be a part of nature.

QUALITY YOU CAN FEEL

As soon as I took this shirt out of the package I was blown away. The fabric alone just feels like a high quality piece of gear. So much attention to detail from the thumb holes to the sleek chest pockets. Not to mention Jolly’s outstanding customer service and dedication to making customers happy. This shirt has already been put through a lot of long dirty days on the trail but continues to perform. 10/10 would recommend!

OUTSTANDING - JUST BUY IT!

Just love my Jolly Gear! Fabulous idea and so well executed, it is just what I have been looking for. I sized up to accommodate my climber shoulders (normally women’s M, purchased L in Topo green). My boyfriend loved the design so much he bought one too. The Topo pattern is a beautiful muted dark sage green. It’s great for my fair skin and hair which are often overwhelmed by bright colors. I’m 5’8” with long arms and the thumb loops are slightly snug, but perfectly comfortable for wearing when needed. I love that this hoodie eliminates the need for sun gloves and slathering sunscreen everywhere, which never seems to work for me when out for extended periods. I plan to wear this while hiking and climbing in sunny climates. I saw on Jolly’s Instagram that he recently wore the Triple Crown while rock climbing, which gives me confidence that this gear is hearty enough for that use. This will make all the difference for my summer climbing and outdoor adventures. Thank you Jolly!

SUCH A GREAT PIECE OF GEAR. YES, I CALLED IT GEAR.

This shirt is a great piece of gear. Just like my shoes, quilts, or hammock. A comfortable shirt that just works well. The design is perfect ! From the zipper pocket, the hood, and the beloved thumbholes. I've worn this shirt for days and weeks at a time. Very little smell. Which is way more than I can say for your standard sun hoodie. 3 hours in the heat in one of those and your guaranteed not to be welcomed to sleep in a shelter due to fellow hiker protests. Just a solid purchase. Just waiting on more shirts to give as gifts. Hurry up people !!!!
